A Better Muslim

To be truthful. I hated this place. I never liked it. I always prefer to be at Malaysia, the place where I can call home. A place where being lonely will always be a choice, an option. Unlike here, loneliness is a must. Selalu ditemani oleh Sunyi dan Sepi.

6.7.2011 the day I decided to go for sunset hunting

However, ever since I step foot here at Brisbane, I let myself fill in this hole of emptiness with HIS graceful presence. I became closer to HIM. I became somewhat, peaceful and not ashamed of myself when I call myself as a Muslim.

Sunset. 5:25 pm. QUT Bridge. 6.7.2011. Brisbane City. Australia

Every time I go out to eat, I make sure the food that I'm eating is either halal or seafood or vegetarian.
Every time I go out, I make sure to plan my time properly according to prayer time.
Every time I go for Friday prayer, I make sure to I listen Khutbah properly and learn from it as much as I can.

Talking to the Moon.

Those things made me think of Him at all times. Those things changed me into a better Muslim.

Aiman, be thankful of what you have. Im not saying you're not, but look at it this way. You are given an opportunity that some of us didn't get, and yes life will be tougher out there instead of here home. But with tough challenges comes better rewards, Inshallah.

Chin up boy!

Ps. Where in kelantan? My hometown is both there too! Hehe:D
